Our programming is research based to improve the density of bones, strengthen your muscles and fine tune your balance. We will design a custom program for you based on the LIFTMOR protocol, MEDEX-OP study & the 2026 ACSM Guidelines For Resistance Training. Who should visit Camp B?

Are you concerned about the density of your bones, balance and muscle strength? Women & men in the 50+ crowd should be thinking about these issues. Women begin to experience bone loss in their late 40’s. This bone loss accelerates dramatically a year before they have their last period. It continues through menopause. The loss of bone density is painless. You can’t feel it. The only test that measures bone density is a DEXA scan and most doctors won’t order that test until you’re 65. For most, that’s too late. If your DEXA scan shows you have osteopenia or osteoporosis, or you want to prevent it, Camp B is right for you. Falling and fractures by those with low bone density are leading causes of pain, frailty and loss of independence. Camp B’s program will help you reverse bone & muscle loss and will improve balance. Camp B can be easily incorporated into your current fitness program. If you have difficulty walking, standing or you have significant arthritis, this program may not be for you. What’s next?

You will begin Camp B with a one hour session working with a licensed physical therapist. The first thing we’ll do is talk. We want to know where you are with your fitness and exercise today. Everyone is starting somewhere. This program scales nicely to those doing very little exercise to those who are quite active with the gym or sports. We will discuss where to start to help your bones, muscles and balance improve. You’ll leave on day one with core programming that puts your bones, muscles and balance on notice that things are going to change. Again, everyone will start where they are today. We want you to be successful. Every 3-4 weeks you will return for a 30 minute session. Before each visit you will complete a pre-visit survey that will help us advance you for success. The program has 4 follow-up visits. We feel this ensures you will be successful. It’s important your programming is advanced smartly to avoid injuries, or worse, you’ll lose motivation! Each visit will include advancements in weight, challenge and intensity until you are working at your most effective level for building bone, muscle and balance. We will teach you researched backed exercises for bone & muscle building that incorporate impact, heavy loading & balance building.
